Fire safety in road tunnels
The December issue of the quarterly magazine on modern infrastructure and construction, Euroinfrastruktura XXI, features the article "Fire safety in road tunnels in Swedish". In the article, you can read an account of a meeting at the headquarters of the Transport Administration Trafikverket in Stockholm devoted to the strategy of ensuring fire safety in road tunnels using a thick-drop sprinkler system. The substantive discussion and exchange of experience was concluded with actual tests of the system in the Norra länken tunnel.
