DV-5A Deluge Valve

TYCO DV-5A automatic flood valves are diaphragm valves that can be used in flooded fire protection systems. With the proper selection of accessories, the DV-5A valve's dual-slot pressure switch design also supports the activation of fire alarms when the system is triggered. The diaphragm design of the DV-5A valve allows for external resetting, so the flood system can be easily reset without having to open the valve cover to manually adjust the flap and/or ratchet mechanism. Simply repressurizing the diaphragm chamber is sufficient to reset the valve.

The DV-5a valve has an internal and external corrosion-resistant coating. The outer corrosion-resistant epoxy coating allows the DV-5a to be used in corrosive atmospheres in a variety of industrial process and outdoor applications.
