ESFR-17 dry sprinkler

TYCO's model ESFR-17 standing sprinklers are early suppression and rapid response (ESFR) sprinklers, with a discharge coefficient, K 16.8. The sprinklers operate in suppression mode, which is advantageous especially in replacing inter-regulation sprinklers in so-called high storage situations.
The ESFR-17 sprinkler model is used in particular in ceiling-mounted applications, including to protect the following storage items:

• Covered and uncovered products, including unfoamed plastics in cartons
• Foamed plastics, in packaging
• Rubber tires and paper bales.
