Nozzle TN-17

The TYCO model TN-17 horizontal nozzle sprinkler with K=240 (K16.8) is a special nozzle used in sprinkler systems in tunnels. The product is an improved alternative to traditional designs.

The TN-17 nozzle, with its enhanced coverage function, generally requires the installation of only one pipe along the entire length of the tunnel (unlike traditional designs which use multiple pipes to provide adequate coverage).

The TN-17 nozzle is connected to a flooded fire protection system. The TN-17 nozzle provides coverage of up to 5m x 10m (for comparison, standard sprinklers in use have a maximum coverage area of 3.0m x 3.0m).
