ANSUL FillFoam System
The high-expansion foam system developed by ANSUL is an effective solution for production halls, warehouses, basements, tunnels, airplane hangars and other facilities where flammable materials and chemicals are present. The system relies on the automatic application of light foam by completely filling the protected space.
The high-expansion foam, based on a suitable foam agent, creates a tight layer that prevents further combustion and protects against the evaporation of flammable, toxic substances. At the same time, the small amount of water contained in the foam causes a significant reduction in post-fire losses.
The high-expansion foam system is designed on the basis of NFPA 11 "Standard for Low-, Medium-, and High Expansion Foam" guidelines, taking into account the type of protected structure, the time of filling, the height of storage of combustible materials and other factors affecting the effectiveness and optimum cost of the installation.
The complete system consists of the following components:
