DV-5 deluge valve

The Model DV-5A deluge valve, in sizes 1½ to 8" (DN40 to DN200), is a diaphragm valve designed for vertical or horizontal installation and use in fire protection systems. It is an automatic water control valve used in sprinkler systems, pre-action systems, and special fire systems such as foam water systems or double interlock systems. When properly configured, DV-5 valves can also provide fire alarm activation when the system is triggered.

The diaphragm design of the DV-5A valve allows the sprinkler or pre-action system to be easily readjusted from the outside without opening the valve's cleaning hole cover and manually adjusting the latch-and-latch mechanism. The valve can be readjusted by simply applying pressure to the diaphragm chamber.

The one-piece diaphragm design of the DV-5A valve allows it to be effectively protected with an anti-corrosion coating on both the inside and outside. The internal corrosion resistance is achieved with a Rilsan coating, making the DV-5 valve ideal for use with most types of seawater and brackish water supplying a sprinkler system. The external corrosion resistance of the Rilsan coating allows the DV-5A to be used in corrosive environments found in many industries.
