InfraTec Thermal Cameras

The concept of the automatic early fire detection system WASTE-SCAN is adapted to the respective conditions of the actual waste incineration plant in order to be able to optimally monitor waste bunkers of any size, geometry and spacial arrangement at a reasonable effort.          

The core piece of the infrared monitoring system WASTE-SCAN is the thermographic camera head. In order   to guarantee its functional safety also under the adverse environmental conditions of a waste bunker, the camera is mounted in a rugged protective casing with an air purge for the camera lens. Optionally, an additional CCD colour camera may be integrated into the protective casing. The combination of a thermographic and light-intense colour camera provides the plant operator with optimal orientation, particularly in unfavourable measuring and environmental conditions.
