SEMINAR “NON-FLUORINATED FOAMS IN FIRE PROTECTION. QUESTIONS, PROBLEMS, PITFALLS.”

On November 28, the Fire Academy's Field Training and Rescue Innovation Base hosted an arch-interesting seminar on non-fluorinated foams.

The purpose of the seminar was to exchange views and experiences of institutions, companies, experts in the field of fire protection and extinguishing agents on the introduction of non-fluorinated extinguishing foams and the withdrawal of AFFF, FFFP and FP foams from use.

The seminar could not miss the active participation of our company. One of the speakers was Kamil Marjanek, who developed and delivered two substantive expert lectures entitled. :

  • Two systems for evaluating the extinguishing effectiveness of foams: the European and the American. Which one is better for non-fluorinated foams?
  • Dosing - a challenge for non-fluorinated foams? How does the viscosity of the foam concentrate affect the accuracy of the dispensing equipment.

The issues raised in the lectures met with great interest, active discussion of the Seminar Participants and also generated very interesting conclusions and insights, which were in part verified during practical demonstrations and firefighting tests (presented to the Participants by both the Fire Academy and our company).
